Environment in the context of development and advisory

AUC is instituting an advisory panel that works with the conservation commissions/committees, made up primarily of some members of executive committee and will establish Working Groups, providing guidance and oversight to the AUCs program impact, and provide feedback and dissemination of recommendations when they become available. In addition, working groups will be made up of member organizations, representatives including development agencies and local and international NGOs and the interested governments that serve the purpose: Sharing best practices in development with wider audiences; and advocating with the members for improved conservation policies and increased resources. This Working Group will be involved in providing feedback on the design and use of the recommendations, particularly in influencing national policies.
